Nationally Recognized Neurogolist Joins Reliant Medical Group

Dr. David Chad

Reliant Medical Group announced that nationally recognized neurologist David Chad, MD has joined the organization’s Division of Neurology at Worcester Medical Center. Chad comes to Reliant Medical from Massachusetts General Hospital. 

He is welcoming new patients at Reliant’s Worcester Medical Center location and will see patients in the Westborough/Southboro area.

Dr. David Chad 

Chad received his medical degree in 1974 from McGill University in Montreal, Québec.

He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Montreal General Hospital at McGill University; and his residency in Neurology at University of California, San Francisco. 

From there, he went on to complete his fellowship in neuromuscular disorders at Tufts University in Boston in 1982 and has been working in the field of Neuromuscular medicine since then. 

Chad was on the faculty of UMass Medical School from 1982-2008, and from 2008 to April of 2017 was a faculty member at Harvard Medical School practicing and teaching at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He is nationally recognized for his work in neuromuscular disease.
