16 Year Old Shot, Worcester Police Detectives Investigating Shooting at Crompton Park

On Friday night at approximately 7:45 PM, Worcester Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Crompton Park for a report of a ShotSpotter activation.

Upon arrival, officers located a sixteen-year-old gunshot victim near the playground area.

Officers rendered medical aid and the male was transported to the hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries. The Detective Bureau and Crime Scene Unit arrived and began the investigation.

This investigation is ongoing.
