“We recognize that patients across our region continue to struggle to access mental health and substance use treatment. We are happy to be in a position where we can provide the 395-corridor a place to receive counseling, medication management, and therapy groups,”  said Harrington Vice President of Behavioral Health Services Greg Mirhej.

The building will be staffed by several mental health and recovery clinicians, as well as Dr. Lowell Kallen, who spent the last three years as a child and family psychiatrist with Day Kimball Healthcare.

Recovery Services will offer individuals18 and over intake evaluations, therapy groups, counseling, and overall behavior management. Should patients need more complex treatment options, they will have access to Harrington’s comprehensive continuum of care, which includes inpatient and intensive outpatient services and step-down programs located in Webster and Southbridge.
