Moonlight Winter Walk at Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary

Hiking by moonlight connects you to the landscape in an entirely different way than hiking during the day. We'll explore with our ears as much as our eyes, perhaps getting the chance to hear howling coyotes or hooting owls, as well as appreciate the peaceful hush of the winter woods.

Here is your chance to explore the sanctuary after dark at a time when we are normally closed to visitors. Bring a flashlight, though we will try not to use them. Snowshoes available for rent for an additional $3/$5 per hour (M/NM).

The event begins at 6 p.m.
