Laila

My name is Laila and my boy toy is Marley. I am 11 years old and a pipsqueak at just 4 lbs. Marley and I are a bit timid. We are tiny and the world can be a scary place at our size. Because of that we prefer a quiet home without a lot of hustle and bustle or comings and goings. All we need is a loving human companion and some warm blankets to cuddle up in. We have been trained to use pee pads. Like many chihuahuas we prefer not to venture out into the cold or wet to do our business. Guessing you don't use an outhouse.

Hey there! I am Charlie, a handsome,distinguished, senior gentleman. At 11 years young and 15 pounds, I am ready to be the life of your party. My ideal home would have kids or other dogs for me to play with. Mr. Social, that's me. We can skip the cats, though. I don't really like them.

Wyatt

Meet Wyatt! Wyatt is a two year old pittie mix who weighs 68 pounds. He is a handsome bruiser with subtle tiger stripes on his body, white socks and a big goofy grin.

Wyatt is a typical young goofball pittie mix. He's good-natured and energetic and he loves to play fetch, go for walks and play with his toys. He's great in the car and is crate trained. He will have you know that the crate is not his favorite place though.

Sadie

My name is Sadie and I am about 5 years old. I’m a 55 lb pittie mix (I think!) and really want to be your new best friend. I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, including heart worm and flea/tick and I’m already spayed.

I love to play and I have so much energy and really want to be on the trails, out running, or going on adventures! The couch might be my new favorite place when I'm in the house though! I’m okay with the other dogs that live in my foster home.

Hi, my name is Summer!

According to my DNA test I’m part cattle dog and boxer! My foster parents say they
“love me to pieces.” Not sure what that means, but I think it’s a good thing. I’m a pretty,young girl who loves to be petted and weigh 35-40 pounds. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, have all my shots and spayed. I’m ready to go!

Captain

Say aye to Captain! Captain was picked up as a stray in Hyde Park and is around 10 years old. Despite his reserved and solemn looks, this gentleman is very open with his affection - you can hear his loud purrs from a mile away. He enjoys his catnip (as seen in the above photos) and copious head scritches. From what we have seen, he is quite laid-back and calm and not averse to company. He wants his future owner all to himself and would like to be the only pet in the household. This big boy looks like he was well-loved in the past - come meet him and make that his reality again.

Mookie

Mookie is a beautiful 12-year-old girl who was surrendered when her owner had to move to a group home. Although she can be shy and sometimes aloof, Mookie loves head nuzzles and lounging on her favorite chair once she settles in. She maintains her long black coat well, and is extremely soft and fluffy! She enjoys pets on her own terms and she isn’t very fond of being picked up.

Max

Max is a little Maine Coon who scampers around silently and swiftly like a squirrel. He has fused back knees with no kneecaps, but this doesn't hold him back one bit! The only accommodation he currently needs is a very low-leveled litter box. Differently-abled and independent, Max is a sensitive companion who will greet you at the door, curl up on the couch, and come to you when he senses any emotional need. Max enjoys lots of naps, but is curious and playful - and always very alert! Max is intelligent, and shows an uncanny level of understanding when spoken to. He does have a will of his own, but with some time and patience, he can pick up new tricks and habits. And of course, he loves a good scratcher.

JiJi

JiJi is a sweet two-year-old female cat with a beautiful all-black coat and big yellow eyes. She was found as a stray in Somerville, and loves attention! If you have a lap, she wants to be in it. She loves head nuzzles and doesn't hesitate to tap your hand to show you she wants pets.

Ernest

Ernest is a very affectionate 1 year old boy who was found abandoned in an apartment. He is very curious, loves to eat (he needs to put on some weight!), and doesn't mind being picked up. We're not sure how he would do with other cats but recommend a careful introduction and a companion cat that doesn't mind a lively sibling.
