Tobey

These giant ears belong to Tobey! Tobey is a 3-year-old male chihuahua who is ready for his forever home! Tobey is about 20lbs, which is much too large for his little frame! His new owners will need to get him on a diet and exercise program quickly. This shouldn't be hard as Tobey LOVES being outside running around, hanging out with other dogs, and just being active in general.

Tobey is full housebroken, but may mark in a new space. He loves to wander around while outside sniffing everything he can and marking it. He walks really well on a leash and is very easy to control. He can move pretty quickly for a big guy, so he will keep you on your toes.

Rufus

Do you like big mutts with huge smiles? If so, I am your man! Weighing in at 85 lbs of love I am the largest lap dog you could ever hope to meet. Yep, you read that right! I just love to sit in my foster dad's lap. It was love at first sight for me.

At just 3 years old, I am in doggie adolescence. Like all adolescents I need patience and consistent training to mature into the awesome dog I am destined to be.

Sadie

My name is Sadie and I am about 5 years old. I’m a 55 lb pittie mix (I think!) and really want to be your new best friend. I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, including heart worm and flea/tick and I’m already spayed.

I love to play and I have so much energy and really want to be on the trails, out running, or going on adventures! The couch might be my new favorite place when I'm in the house though! I’m okay with the other dogs that live in my foster home.

Millie

Millie is an 11 year old, 13 lb Shih Tzu mix who has a gentle, loving temperament and is looking for a forever home.

Millie was picked up as a stray in really rough shape. After lots of TLC, she is doing well. She has a few medical issues that will require ongoing care. This includes chronic dry eyes (common to Shih Tzu's) and allergies. Millie requires daily eye drops and medication once a day for her skin allergies.

Mr. Boos

Hello! My name is Boos. I'm a 14 year old tuxedo cat... But don't let my age fool you! I still have a lot of pep in my step and lots of love to give.

I love to chase lasers, and I'll even tolerate the occasional costume. I'm a very chatty boy, and a purring machine!

I love to be picked up and cuddled, curl up next to you on the couch, or 'help out' if you're working on the computer. Wherever you are, that's where I want to be! My last owner was away a lot. I was very lonely! My 'purrfect' home would be with someone I can spend lots of time with. I haven't lived with any cat siblings before, but I'd probably be OK if we were properly introduced.

Sylvia

Sylvia is a sweet 8 month old girl being fostered in Cambridge. Sylvia came to Broken Tail as a kitten in need of socialization, and has really warmed up to people while in foster. She loves attention and purrs on contact. She is nervous around new people, but once she feels comfortable she is always looking for attention. She loves other cats and would do best in a home with a friendly resident cat who can show her the ropes. She will need a patient adopter who is willing to let her adjust to a forever home at her own pace.
