StyleWeek Supports Heart Association with Creative Fashion Show

Monday, August 08, 2011

StyleWeek Providence has partnered once again with the American Heart Association to raise awareness and funds for the fight against heart disease in women... and girls.

In this season’s challenge – “Little Hearts. Big Love” – female survivors between the ages of 8 and 13 have been paired with StyleWeek designers who will create original red outfits inspired by the girls’ personalities.

“This is our second show benefiting the American Heart Association,” said Rosanna Ortiz Sinel, founder and president of StyleWeek Providence. “It’s been wonderful for our team and all the designers to work with the adult and young survivors. This experience has moved and changed all of us.”

One-of-a-kind creations

Watch the young fashionistas take to the runway in their one-of-a-kind creations on August 26th, in the kick-off event for this year's StyleWeek Providence. The show will be at the Providence Performing Arts Center at 5:30pm.

Tickets can be purchased at styleweekprovidence.com/little-hearts-big-love. Front-row seats are available for $150, preferred seating (on stage) for $75, and mezzanine seating for $40. The first challenge, featuring adult survivors, sold out in January.
