Macy’s has teamed with thredUp on a pilot program to create a secondhand shopping experience in select Macy’s Stores.

The stores are Macy’s Boston, Macy’s Holyoke Mall, and Macy’s Square One Mall.

Millions of shoppers use thredUP to sell clothes they no longer wear and buy vetted secondhand apparel at up to 90% off retail prices.

Macy’s will add some of that secondhand product to select stores allowing customers to shop with great deals on the new-to-you brands and constant new arrivals.

Macy’s will add new arrivals from thredUP frequently, so it will feel like a completely fresh shop-in-shop upon every visit, giving customers thousands of reasons to come back and see what’s new.

About thredUp

thredUP is the world's largest fashion resale marketplace, designed to save the planet and your wallet from waste.

The company makes selling your clothes easy, and resells 35,000 brands - from GAP to Gucci - at up to 90% off retail prices.
